A new travel giveaway from Airbnb is giving new meaning to the phrase "sleeping with the fishes." According to Forbes, Airbnb has partnered with Disney Pixar's Finding Dory to offer a prize package, worth $30,000, that includes round-trip airfare for four to Cairns, Australia and one night aboard a floating home away from home on the Great Barrier Reef.
For one night on July 13, guests can live in the structure, which features two bedrooms and three beds, all suspended above the world's largest coral garden. And the package includes more than just a place to get some shut-eye. Because Airbnb doesn't expect its customers to fish for their own meal, the winner and guests will be fed during their stay by Australian chef and restaurateur Neil Perry before joining the host, Pascal Datler, on a dive with a marine biologist to explore some of the reef below.
To enter the contest, login or register on the Airbnb website and submit an essay (between 50 and 500 characters) about yourself and why you and your squad want to stay on the Great Barrier Reef. After judges review the essays with an eye toward originality, creativity, and spirit, the winner will be selected on July 4 and notified by phone and email within 24 hours.
