Black Friday is one of the biggest shopping events of the season. Even though it’s supposed to start on the Friday after Thanksgiving (which lands on November 26 this year), supply-chain issues have led many major retailers to kick off their sales early. One of these places is Walmart, which has already got the ball rolling with markdowns on tons of big-ticket items.

Currently, the retailer has discounted thousands of products from tech, home goods, entertainment, and more for its early Black Friday 2021 sale. Though tons of great products are already marked down, a few stand out among the rest. For instance, if you’re a tech-savvy person who’s looking to upgrade to a better cinematic experience, you’ll be happy to hear the Sceptre Class 4K Ultra high-definition LED television (U515CV-U) is included in the sale. Originally priced at $328, this 50-inch-wide television screen is now $199, so you'll save about 40 percent. This television has three HDMI ports to let you connect to other devices and stream in 4K, along with a 4.1-star rating and over 4500 reviews on Walmart. "It has great images with very crisp pictures and the framing and finish on it is beautiful. I didn't expect the resolution to be as good as it is[,] but honestly it's great," one shopper wrote.

Now that you have a television to screen movies on, you need something to view. Watch the three-film collection of the theatrical versions of The Lord of the Rings in Blu-ray, which regularly costs $14 but can now be yours for just $6. Afterward, take a nap on Tempur-Pedic’s soft memory foam essential support pillow, which is discounted from $79 to $35, and designed with back and stomach sleepers in mind.

While the retailer's official Black Friday offerings won’t be released until the day of, Walmart+ members can access all the biggest deals (which you can preview here) four hours before everyone else. In addition to early access to promotional events, the membership—which costs $13 per month or $98 per year—gives you free delivery from the store, free shipping without an order minimum, discounts on prescriptions and fuel, and contact-less checkout.
