In honor of the opening of the One World Observatory, EarthCam put together a time-lapse video that condensed the 11-year-long construction of One World Trade Center into two short minutes. Starting from October 2004 and ending in May 2015, you can see the impressive transformation, from flat ground to a 1,792 foot skyscraper. EarthCam used hundreds of thousands of images to hand edit this video together. The result is transfixing to watch.
