You Could Get Paid $1000 for Binge-Watching 48 Episodes of Billions in 30 Days
If you’re about to press "play" on the pilot episode of Showtime’s Billions (watch the pilot for free here), you might want to hold off just a little longer. You could potentially get paid $1000 for binge-watching the whole series.
Cable Providers, an online research and review site for internet providers, is offering one lucky fan the opportunity to win $1000, a Showtime streaming gift card, and Billions-themed swag as a reward for watching all four seasons of the show within 30 days. That’s a total of 48 episodes, so the winner will have to knock out 1.6 episodes each day (considering the nail-biting nature of Billions, however, it won’t be surprising if they blow through it much more quickly). While watching, the winner will keep track of certain recurring themes on a checklist, like "how many times does Damian Lewis’s Bobby Axelrod break the law?"
To apply, send an email to carolyn.morgan@cableproviders.co with Dream Job in the subject line, and your name—plus the name of your favorite Billions character—in the body of the email. You have to be at least 18 years old and a U.S. citizen to enter, and applications will be accepted until May 3 at 8 p.m. EST. A Cable Provider representative will contact the winner sometime before May 10, so be sure to check your email inbox (and spam folder, just in case) during that week.
The contest coincides with the return of the hit series; Season 5 premieres on May 3, and based on the trailer below, the stakes are higher than ever.
