Millie Bobby Brown Says Duffer Brothers 'Feel the Pressure' From Stranger Things Fan Theories

Warning: Stranger Things season 3 spoilers ahead.

With the fourth season of Netflix’s hit series Stranger Things officially confirmed, fans are (unsurprisingly) already coming up with some pretty detailed theories about what’s to come for the Hawkins gang.

One of the biggest questions viewers have is regarding the fate of David Harbour’s character, the beloved Jim Hopper. The third season concluded with him supposedly dying when he sacrificed himself to close the Upside Down—but after a confusing post-credits scene, nearly everyone is convinced he’s still alive. Now, people are posting tons of theories online as to how he’ll be making a comeback in season 4 (if he does at all).

The stars of Stranger Things have regularly been asked about Hopper’s fate, and although Eleven actress Millie Bobby Brown is remaining tight-lipped, she did just admit that the show's cast and creators are reading those fan theories. While speaking with Seventeen, the 15-year-old Emmy nominee was asked whether Hopper—her onscreen “dad”—would be alive next season, to which she replied, "I have no idea, but I love hearing everybody else's ideas and thoughts.”

“Ultimately," Brown added, "it’s nobody’s decision but the Duffer Brothers—you know, they’re writing it. I think the Duffer Brothers definitely feel the pressure of people's fan theories, though."

Brown is, of course, referring to Matt and Ross Duffer, the brothers who created the hit series. While the duo has yet to reveal anything about the the recently-announced fourth season, they better be prepared for plenty of questions about Jim Hopper. The fans need answers, and with no confirmed release date for the fourth season, we’re sure the brothers will be seeing a whole lot more theories in the coming months.

Star Wars obsessives aren't the only people in for a trailer treat today: Nearly two years after the second season of The Crown debuted, the award-winning series about the early days of Queen Elizabeth II's reign is just weeks away from its return. And on Monday morning, Netflix released the first full trailer for The Crown's new season.

While we've known some of the basic details about the new season—like the time frame in which it takes place and that Olivia Colman and Tobias Menzies would be taking over the roles of Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip—this is the first in-depth glimpse we've gotten at what's in store for season 3.

The role duty plays in the lives of the British royal family appears to be an overarching theme, with the trailer showing the country in distress but each of the characters putting on a smiling face for the public. While Elizabeth and Philip's relationship will continue to take center stage in the pricey period drama, Princess Margaret (now played by Helena Bonham Carter) will struggle with her role of being the Queen's sister. And Prince Charles (Josh O'Connor) will have to choose between his love for Camilla Parker Bowles (played by Killing Eve writer Emerald Fennell) and his duty as the heir apparent to the throne.

Netflix will debut The Crown season 3 on November 17, 2019.
