The 25 Sexiest Accents in America

No matter where in the U.S. you're from, accents are probably a big topic of discussion—whether you're wondering when, exactly, we lost our British accents to which accents are the most annoying. You may have even argued about which accents are the sexiest. Well, debate no more: As Philly Voice reports, we finally have an answer for which accents are the sexiest thanks to the international media company Big 7 Travel.

Big 7 Travel surveyed their 1.5 million social media followers to come up with the list. The results are equal parts hilarious and puzzling: It makes sense that the slow drawl of the Texas accent (think Matthew McConaughey's "alright alright alright") topped the list, but Boston coming in No. 2 is a wicked surprise. The Philadelphia accent, with its "jawns" and "wooders," also ranks in the top 10. Meanwhile, New Jersey and Long Islander came in 49th and 50th, respectively.
