If it’s a publicity stunt, it’s an adorable one. MUTTS Canine Cantina, a dog-friendly restaurant and dog park with locations in Dallas and Fort Worth, Texas, recently announced they would be taking on a fall intern.

Their job? To pet puppies. Lots and lots of puppies. For $100 an hour.

A representative for MUTTS told Thrillist that the offer is legitimate and that the intern will be expected to work up to four hours a week for eight weeks giving effusive praise and belly rubs to dogs visiting the business. Presumably, candidates will need to be fond of dogs, able to raise their voice a few octaves, and skilled in interrogating the animals in the matter of who exactly is a good boy.

MUTTS has a fairly streamlined application process: All you need to do is create a post on your Instagram page that makes a case for why you’d be a great “Puptern,” tag the MUTTS Cantina page, and use the hashtag #MUTTSpuptern. Applications will be accepted through November 12, 2018.

Don’t live in or near Dallas? You still might get your chance. MUTTS, which provides canine-friendly seating and dog menu items, is looking to franchise and may soon show up in a city near you.
