July 11 is just another day for some, but for 7-Eleven fans, it's a cause for celebration. Thrillist reports that the convenience store chain is giving away free Slurpees at all U.S. locations this Wednesday in honor of 7-Eleven Day.

Offering Slurpees to customers free of charge on "7/11" has become an annual tradition for the company. You'll be able to pick up a small cup of their signature slushy drink in the classic flavors, like cherry and blue raspberry, or you can try something new with their limited-edition Cap'n Crunch's Crunch Berries Slurpee.

This year, 7-Eleven is offering a deal on hot food to go with your brain freeze. On July 11 and July 18 (National Hot Dog day), you can purchase a Big Bite hot dog for $1. Members of the chain's 7Rewards program (a.k.a. anyone who has the 7-Eleven app) will also get exclusive deals on drinks and snacks throughout the week in honor of 7-Eleven's 91st anniversary. Most of this week's offerings are buy-one-get-one deals, including a free Coke with the purchase of Cheez-Its and a free Big Gulp with the purchase of Snickers.

If you haven't grabbed your free Slurpee yet today, make sure you get the timing right: Like every year, the promotion only runs from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
