An avowed Westerner, freelance writer Leah Welborn has never lived east of the Mississippi (not that there's anything wrong with it). Born and raised in Texas, she earned a BA and most of an MA at the University of Texas at Austin before a sojourn in California, where she earned an MFA from Antioch University. Leah loves art, and history, and, you know, art history. She probably knows less about sports and cars than anyone you'll ever meet. She currently lives in Denver with her splendidly goofy dog, Django Reinhardt, and ornery, yet multi-talented cat, Mama Cass.
