Blade Runner is among my favorite movies. Despite having seen it a dozen times, I've never seen much about how the thing got made. In 2000, film critic Mark Kermode went deep on Blade Runner, creating an hour-long BBC documentary called On the Edge of Blade Runner. He interviewed the screenwriters, director, many of the actors, explored various locations, and even dug into the personal history of Philip K. Dick, who wrote the story on which the Blade Runner screenplay was based.

If you're even remotely a fan of the movie, carve out a lunch hour and enjoy this.
