This fall, Nintendo is hitting shelves with a one-two combo: Just weeks after announcing the upcoming release of its the miniature NES Classic Edition this November, the video game giant has announced plans for an official companion book, IGN.com reports. Playing With Power: Nintendo NES Classics, from publisher Prima Games, will go in-depth and explore 17 of Nintendo's retro titles, including Super Mario Bros., Donkey Kong, and The Legend of Zelda.

Bound in an embossed slipcover that looks like an old-school NES cartridge, the 320-page hardcover book from author Garitt Rocha will feature interviews and commentaries with Nintendo game developers and showcase vintage ads and excerpts from Nintendo Power magazine, as well as hand-drawn maps, character designs, and game environment art.

While Playing With Power: Nintendo NES Classics won't be available until November 18—one week after the plug-and-play NES Classic Edition drops in stores on November 11—you can currently pre-order a copy for $26.99.
