If your grasp on reality is feeling pretty strong today, it might falter after watching this mind-bending optical illusion from Kokichi Sugihara, a mathematics professor at Japan's Meiji University. What appears to be a rack of cylinders transforms into a rack of rectangles when viewed in the mirror. As the shapes are rotated, they appear to change right before your eyes. Things get even more baffling when other complex shapes enter the mix. We are guessing the trickery is the result of perspective and someĀ advanced math skills, but we're still not ruling out magic, though
