Watch a Group of Skydivers Play Quidditch in Mid-Air

Most Harry Potter fans only dream of taking to the air for a game of Quidditch, but this group of skydivers actually did it, playing a quick match about 13,000 feet above the Earth’s surface.

Colombian telecommunications company ETB made a viral video of six skydivers leaping out of an airplane to play a very short game of Quidditch. They were equipped with broomsticks, a Quaffle, and one goal (instead of three standing hoops). Two skydivers held the goal, while the others attempted to get the Quaffle through it—in mid-air. (No Bludgers or Snitch in sight, though.) Even Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling got in on the fun, retweeting the video to her more than 7 million Twitter followers.

This isn’t the first time Muggles have tried to replicate Quidditch. There are a number of Quidditch leagues around the world, and Quidditch beer pong has also become a thing on college campuses. No word on whether the idea for this high-flying game came about over a few mugs of butterbeer.
