Get ready to sit back and relax, and laugh 'til you collapse, because the voice actors who played the Animaniacs will soon be going on tour. The New York Times reports that Rob Paulsen, Jess Harnell, and Tress MacNeille—who played Yakko, Wakko, and Dot, respectively—have announced plans to publicly perform songs from the classic children’s cartoon (though they haven’t yet announced where or when).

If a live Animaniacs tour sounds zany to the max—or at least a little bit out of the blue—The New York Times notes that the cartoon was recently picked up by Netflix, bringing it to a wide audience for the first time since it originally aired in the 1990s. The added attention from appearing on the major streaming platform may have inspired the trio to reunite. Or, of course, it could be a complete coincidence (Yakko, Wakko, and Dot were never known for their straightforward logic).

One thing, however, is clear: Paulsen has promised to perform an updated version of “Yakko’s World,” the famous geography song in which his character names all the nations of the world. Randy Rogel, who wrote the song as part of his audition for the show, has agreed to create a new version for the tour, which will include all of the new nations that have formed since 1991, and any left out of the original song. The crew has also promised to perform Wakko’s list of American states and capitals, and the show’s presidents song.

This isn’t the first time Paulsen, Harnell, and MacNeille have reunited; the former co-stars gave a live performance back in 2014 with the Colorado Symphony backing them up. For their upcoming tour, they will again perform with a live orchestra. Check out the video from their 2014 show below to get a sense of the animated fun that might accompany their upcoming tour.
