This Is How Famous Artists Would Plate Thanksgiving Dinner
Following up her popular Thanksgiving Special art photography series from 2014, conceptual artist Hannah Rothstein is back with more limited edition prints. For the series, Rothstein arranges turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing, gravy, and other Thanksgiving-themed foods onto plates in ways that resemble the works of famous artists.
Last year, Rothstein set the bar high with Jackson Pollock-, Georges Seurat-, Pablo Picasso-, and Piet Mondrian-inspired plates. The new installments, dubbed Thanksgiving Special: Seconds, bring Jean-Michel Basquiat, Keith Haring, Salvador Dalí, Man Ray, Georgia O'Keeffe, Gustav Klimt, and others to the table in creative ways.
A portion of the proceeds from Rothstein's print sales will be donated to the SF-Marin Food Bank to help feed families in need. To see the entire series and to purchase prints, head over to Rothstein's website.
