We all know that relative to the rest of the universe, Earth is nothing but a "Pale Blue Dot." But the true scale of our cosmos can be hard to really wrap your head around.

YouTube user morn1415 has created “Star Size Comparison HD” to illustrate how Earth stacks up to other objects in our solar system and beyond. While certainly not the wimpiest, our planet quickly becomes entirely blocked out by the sun—and then even our sun is dwarfed by stars far more massive than it, including the largest one we know of, VY Canis Majoris.

For a gorgeous reminder that you are not the center of the universe, watch above.
