Today's map comes from the cost estimating website Fixr.com, who used Google's autocomplete results to determine what people are trying to buy in other countries. Then they color-coded the options by category. If you're confused by Russia, a "mig" refers to a MiG-29 jet fighter.

As with any Google autocomplete project, results may vary depending on your location and search history. You can read more about Fixr's methodology here.

For a closer look at each region, check out Fixr.com. To see what people are looking to buy in the U.S., see this map.

The Afternoon Map is a semi-regular feature in which we post maps and infographics. In the afternoon. Semi-regularly.
