In October 2014, the fifth annual Classic Tetris World Championship was held in Portland, Oregon. I was there, shooting a documentary about the tournament (stay tuned for release later this year). And so was a documentarian from BuzzFeed, who followed Tetris Master Eli Markstrom during his journey through the tournament. The BuzzFeed mini-documentary is up now, and gives you a brief taste of what it's like to play competitive Tetris. (And in Markstrom's case, what it's like to use performance-enhancing coffee.)
