A long time ago, in a movie theater far, far away, the Force awakened in a super-boring way.

Here's the 1976 trailer for Star Wars: Episode IV, back before the John Williams score was added, before the iconic Star Wars logo was finalized, and before the lightsabers had colors. I'm going to tell you right now that this trailer is extremely boring, except as a historical artifact showing how movie trailers have changed over the past 40 years.
