For decades, Moses Horwitz—better known as Moe Howard—acted as the ringmaster for the Three Stooges, a revolving cast of comic actors specializing in slapstick humor that included his two brothers, Jerome “Curly” Horwitz and Samuel “Shemp” Horwitz.

Now, Stooge fans have an opportunity to get their hands on Moe’s personal collection of Stooge memorabilia. Nate D. Sanders Auctions in Los Angeles will be auctioning off several of Moe’s possessions, including scripts, movie posters, and his passport.

One of the highlights of the auction, which will be held from June 24 to 28, is Moe’s handwritten script for the 1934 short Three Little Pigskins, the fourth Stooges short released by Columbia Pictures. The two-page script, which features the Stooges as the Three Horsemen of Notre Dame, will accept bids starting at $7800.

The auction will also feature Moe’s personal poster for the 1935 Stooges short Uncivil Warriors ($30,000) and his passport, which was issued on May 11, 1939 and features both his legal name, Moses Hurovitz, and Moe Howard ($400). There are also several poems Moe wrote to his family, including one dispatched from a Boston hotel with a starting bid of $400. Titled “My Hearts [sic] Aglow,” it reads:

My hearts aglow, with thoughts of you

Every minute of the day.

My Hearts aglow, with dreams so true,

‘Til the long night fades away.

My hearts aglow, with raptures new,

My sweet, my angel mine.

My hearts aglow, with love for you,

I adore you, you’re divine.

My hearts aglow, with memories sweet,

Of what you’ve done for me.

My hearts aglow, my life’s complete,

You’re all I want, you three!

The entire assortment, which includes family photos, handwritten documents, and 16mm home movies, can be viewed at the Nate D. Sanders Auctions website.

Pottery Barn Is Launching a Friends-Inspired Furniture Line That Includes Rachel’s Iconic Apothecary Table

To celebrate this fall’s 25th anniversary of the premiere of Friends in 1994, Pottery Barn is releasing a line of furniture inspired by the beloved NBC sitcom, Deadline reports.

The collection will feature accessories, furniture, and tabletop items, including Central Perk mugs. One highlight is a replica of the apothecary table that made a name for apothecary tables everywhere with its spotlight-stealing performance in the season 6 episode “The One with the Apothecary Table.” In it, Rachel purchases an apothecary table from Pottery Barn and, when she finds out Phoebe hates Pottery Barn, tells her the table is an antique from the “days of yore.” It gets more complicated (and hilarious) from there.

According to BuzzFeed, the episode was actually part of a product placement deal with Pottery Barn, and Entertainment Weekly even ranked it first on their “Best Product Placement” list for Friends.

You can shop the collection beginning on July 30, with prices starting at $12.50. If you’re a diehard Friends fanatic looking to celebrate its 25th anniversary in a way that Rachel Green would be proud of, you can also enter Pottery Barn’s sweepstakes for a chance to win a free trip for two to Los Angeles, complete with a $1000 shopping spree to Pottery Barn and a Warner Bros. Studio Deluxe Tour which includes, of course, a visit to the Central Perk set.

And, if you haven’t seen “The One with the Apothecary Table,” you can watch it on Netflix before Friends leaves for WarnerMedia’s new streaming service HBO Max in 2020.
