Today's mentalfloss.com Brain Game Think Thursday challenge is a bit more involved than most, but it's still easy to play. Just please make sure to read these instructions carefully before tackling it:

Your goal: Make the equation [  1  2  3  4  ] work by adding some combination of the four basic mathematical symbols +  -  ×   / and the equals sign = Important: You cannot change the position of the digits, nor add any digits, symbols, or marks other than some combination of the five mentioned.

TWO CORRECT EXAMPLES:

1 2 = 3 × 4
- 1 + 2 + 3 = 4
