Reader Michelle has a question: "Are there any neat historical or regional terms for 'grandma' and 'grandpa' that my family might adopt? I'm having twins in January and my mom just asked what the kids will call them."
Since my family uses the standard Grandma, Grandpa, Nana, and Pop-Pop, I figured I'd throw this one out to the group. Did you guys call your grandparents anything special? If not, would you like to make up a term that could catch on and become part of your legacy?
Let's rattle off some suggestions for Michelle.
