One of the reasons that Fight Club is among my favorite movies is the fact that every time I watch it, I notice something I’d previously overlooked – the discovery of which opens up all kinds of new meaning.
The blog Cannot Unsee recently discovered this intriguing parallel between Fight Club and a popular 80's comedy:
Tyler Durden’s (Brad Pitt) clothes in the movie Fight Club are an imprint in the narrator's (Ed Norton) mind from the character Louis Winthorpe III (Dan Aykroyd) in the movie Trading Places.
Debating whether there is any validity to this similarity or if it’s all just a random coincidence is all part of the fun of watching a movie like Fight Club. Which got me wondering – what movie still surprises you even after dozens of viewings?
