The Late Movies: Five-Second Films
I've been to film school. I've been a submissions screener for a major film festival. I have seen more short films than 99% of the rest of humanity, and I know from experience that even a five-minute film can seem very, very long if it's crappy. That's why I was excited to hear about a website that features shorts that are only five seconds long -- and they've got hundreds of them. They're all attempts at humor (there's not much else you can do in five seconds but crack a quick joke) and a surprising number of them hit the bullseye -- even if it takes you a few seconds after the film's over to get it. Here are some of my favorite five second films. Warning: some naughty words!
