3. Emma -  25,404 babies, about 1.82 percent of female babies.  Emma is the #1 choice for baby names so far this year.  I guess some names will always be popular!
4. Elizabeth "“ 25,007 babies, about 1.79 percent of female babies.  Elizabeth holds the #9 spot on the most popular female baby name list for 2010.
5. Margaret - 21,800 babies, about 1.56 percent of female babies.
6. Minnie - 21,724 babies, about 1.55 percent of female babies.
7. Ida - 18,283 babies, about 1.3 percent of female babies.
8. Bertha - 18,263 babies, about 1.3 percent of female babies.
9. Clara - 17,717 babies, about 1.27 percent of female babies.
10. Alice - 17,141 babies, about 1.22 percent of female babies. Alice is only #326 on the most recent list, but I'm fully expecting that number to go up in the next few years thanks to the Twilight books.
