Is this really a movie?

Have you heard about the upcoming movie "Snakes on a Plane"? I saw the preview a few days ago and honestly thought it was a joke.  I don't remember exactly how it went but it was something along the lines of "You think snakes are scary? Well imagine SNAKES ON A PLANE!" And the movie seems to be appropriately named because I think it's all about being on a plane and all of the sudden, snakes are everywhere! I smell Academy Award. Check out the trailer and see if you agree.

But maybe I'm just crazy for thinking this sounds stupid because not only is Samuel L. Jackson in this film, but according to IMDB:

Samuel L. Jackson only signed on for this film because of the title. It was later changed to "Pacific Air Flight 121", but Jackson demanded they reverse the change. "We're totally changing that back. That's the only reason I took the job: I read the title."

Rumor has it, the sequel "Gilbert Gottfried on an Elevator," will be even more of a thriller.
